Contractor Expectations

Our Standard

We hold our contractors and suppliers to the same standards we hold ourselves. Every company we partner with is expected to put safety first and meet compliance and regulatory requirements.

Woodway applies the Pipeline Safety Management System (PSMS) framework across environmental, health and safety functions. And we hold our contractors to those same standards on every site.

  • Safety

All contractor members complete on-site safety orientation before work begins. If Woodway deems a worksite unsafe, we take swift action, including removing or replacing a contractor from the project.

  • Insurance & Compliance

Minimum insurance requirements scale with the risk level of the work. Contact our Director of Strategic Sourcing for scope-specific coverage thresholds at strategicsourcing@woodwayenergy.com.

  • Other Mandatory Qualifications

A signed Master Service Agreement (MSA) is required before work begins. Crew certifications must stay current and documented through EWN or an approved alternative provider.

Procurement Inquiries

Woodway maintains an established contractor and vendor network. If you have a procurement question, reach out and we'll point you to the right person.

FAQs

We work with an established network of contractors and suppliers. For new opportunities, please contact Woodway's Director of Strategic Sourcing at [email protected].

Woodway ties minimum insurance requirements to the risk level of the work being performed. Higher-risk scopes carry higher coverage thresholds. Because requirements vary by scope of work, contact Woodway's Director of Strategic Sourcing at [email protected].

Woodway provides standard safety orientation training on-site before any contractor begins work. Beyond that, training requirements vary by project scope.

Before work begins, contractors must have a Master Service Agreement (MSA) in place, and all company training and certification status must be documented and current. Woodway tracks these certifications through EWN by default, though alternative Operator Qualification (OQ) tracking providers (such as Veriforce) may be approved on a case-by-case basis.

Yes. Every individual on a Woodway site, employee, contractor or supplier, has the authority to stop work immediately if a safety concern arises, and Woodway expects them to use it, regardless of schedule or production pressure.
